Not yet, but I just noticed one of the forks on one of mine looks bent,
or more accurately, looks like it's misaligned into the tube.

Maybe a spacer broke and fell out.

As far as whatever else will fit?
Wish I knew what to tell you (and myself too)

Someone will surely chime in.

i took off my shocks today becuz the axle to the front tire was locked onto the shock but i broke one free which helped in changing my front bearings but the inside are weird style springs and not oil filled shocks like the 250sx or 250es, so im hoping i can find a front end that fits and has oil filled shocks

The 84 BR es I bought has an 85 front end on it. It appears that the cross bar that has the steering stops on it has been changed. It seems to work good. Go to the albums section and check out the pics.

The front suspension on the front when I redid my 84 BR both were caked with mud as the boots were gone. I did replace the dampers and had the springs dipped and cleaned at a local shop and they are working just fine. Are your springs/dampers shot?

85 200M front end will directly swap over to the 200ES the only problem i came across was wiring for the keyed ignition dont match. I did figure out what it was though. if you search my name i have two threads i posted up about this subject. I also have pics of the whole ordeal if you want those.

250 it does look like some mods were done. There are some welds and paint that are not factory. I'll try to get some pics this weekend if it ever stops snowing ;-(

hmm doesnt look like they had to cut the neck on the frame for the 200es but they had to do something on the forks for sure.

The neck is stock for sure. Do those steering stops look like they are from a 200es or 250 model? Is there another angle I can try for. Also I could try washing it ;-) Had some fun yesterday!

Maybe go with the suggestion from COX for the 85 200M coversion? That is if one is available?

i got a 200s sitting in the back with front shocks but the thing it that it dont have the brakcets for the front rack and headlight , what i might do is go buy a mig welder this week and weld on some brackets onto it.

I modified a ytm 200e front end to go on my 81 200 and have measured the neck tubes from my 84 es and 81 200 and they are the same length all I had to change was the stem and mill the top bracket to allow the nut through it is really very stable now. Like I keep telling people machinists are tweakers without any drugs
