Any suggestions on something affordable? Possibly something on ebay. I did a search for 200x carb, but only stock ones come up. I put a kleihn 22mm on my modified atc90 and it worked great. So I'm looking for something similar to do to my 200x.

The XR200 carb is bigger, or just do a search for Keihin 26 or 28 mm or 30 mm depending on how big you are going. If you are doing just bolt on mods like exhaust, K&N, and carb go with 26 or 28. If you are building the motor go with 28 or 30.

That would be a nice upgrade for the price. Stock 83-85 200X carb size is 24mm and the XR200 was 26mm. The one you are looking at is a Chinese knockoff but I have heard they are good pieces for the money and usually bolt right up and go with no jetting changes.

Nice. I'm going to get it then. The stock one is leaking and its almost $20 for a rebuild kit, so screw it I'll put a whole new carb on it. I think it said it was 30mm though, would that be to big for stock?

hmmm...might be a little big but if you are going to redo the motor it would be good then. You can always rejet it for the time being if it's too rich. If it is 30mm you are going to have to boil the intake to soften it up to get that big hog in there though.

i would avoid the ebay knock off carbs. just my experience, but i have had trouble with them. with out some major mods i think 30 ml will kill you bottom end

small fcr carb. 30mm is way too much for a stock unit

I bought a $30 carb off ebay. It was advertised as a 26mm carb. I understand that the oem is a 24mm carb. However when I eyed them up the new one had a noticeable smaller venturi. I put it on and the bike ran and idled nice and much better then what was on it.

I have had great luck with china/ebay carbs for the 70s and 90s. webllc I think is the seller I have used, $27 delivered. But open it up and blow it out and check security of jets.
