85 sx 2 piece exhaust?

I got an sx parts bike with a perfect tank,
QA02 carb and a good looking exhaust.

Exhaust bolts came out perfectly,
pinch clamp that holds the 2 parts of the exhaust
came off easily, so I soaked that joint and walked away.

Does that exhaust need to come apart to get off/on?
or can it be weaseled out of there with some oragomi yoga moves?

Worst case?
Heat to red hot and try to separate the 2 parts?
Pipe wrench on each one?
Cut and sleeve?

it needs to come apart. Take a punch or a smaller nosharp cheisel and pound the muffler back. Line the punch up in the slot on the muffler slip joint. You should not have to heat it at all. make sure all the bolts are out of the muffler. Once it moves a little just wiggle it and it should slide right off.
