motor question

yes i was wondering if 88 tecate 4 motor will work in 86 tecate 3. an what mods are required to make it work thanks

Interesting question. I've never seen it done and I've not tried it myself but I'm pretty sure the Tecate 4 has a counterbalancer and the 3 does not. That will probably change the overall dimensions of the engine and front mounting points. The cradle might get in the way. That's my guess.

yeah its not gonna work. The T4 engine is wider and has a different chain offset.. its probably too long for the engine cradle also
