what year is my tri moto 125?

Hi, I have a tri-moto 125. there is no year stamped on it. i looked at the vin near the handle bars and it's all numbers with the letter R. does this indicate the year? how tdo you figure out what year? The backround on the side plates is all black. thanks if anyone knows....Jim :?

if its yellow its like mi old one i never found out . i had to go to the guy in bought iot from and it was a 1980's what he told me so i really dont know either? sorry that i couldnt help much.

Go to bikebandit.com and check their michrofice cards. I believe it's under oem parts. The first page or so will tell you how to determine the year of the trike. That's how I found my trike year on a YT 125.
