I got a new carb for my 110 ATC but the insulator fell apart when I took the old carb off. Am I screwing myself if I run the inlet pipe right into the carb? Thanks for you opinion.

I forget what I had read but I believe it was for either proper fuel atomization or to dissipate heat.

I know it was recommended to always use it........
