View Full Version : Ugh 14mm rod end but 15mm wrist pin!

Lame ended up with a stroker crank with 14mm rod end and a 15mm wrist pin piston!!! What do i need to look for to make sure i get a 14mm wrist pin?

atc 90s use the 14mm wrist pin and the 110 uses the 15mm wrist pin

ive got a +3mm non dome kit and a +5mm dome rocky kit $75 each if you need one both 14mm pin

Just ream the the rod out to fit the pin

Pistons 14mm & 15mm have different deck heights , wont work .

change the base gasket to make up the differance. Thats how I did mine on my old atc 70 build using a atc 90 piston on a 70 rod I just reamed it out to 14mm .

i read something awhile back where you had to shave the top of the piston for correct deck height,i believe there might be something in this link about it.

Install an early 110 rod in the crank and make up the difference with a spacer plate.
What size stroker?
