Did you call FedEx? UPS? I think I remember seeing something about WORLDWIDE in their ads. Entire machines can be easily shipped door to door by LOGISTICS companies like www.trans-pro.com. Yes there is added paperwork and time but most Co. handel it for a small fee.

I buy alot off E-gay, and never had trouble with shipping, I also ship a few old two strokes motors out a month to the USA with Ups and no problems at all. And since our dollar is more towards parity if not above the green back, Im starting to go cross border to Maine to find stuff, and just requires a Passport, bill of sale for the items of purchase, and pay the duty, and have a good day......

buddy said you just have to fill out a form at the post office and the shipping will just cost a little more.

i've had many items shipped from the States to canada, gifting it is nice but now necisary... the person in canada pays for duty/customs, it gets checked about 4 out of 5 times or so.... USPS, UPS, FEDEX they all do it.... normally between $20-$31.50 for shipping... of course they can pay more to get it quicker.. i've got an engine from Florida, shipping was $75 and customs was $60.

if you mark it as a gift, they still check it, you just dont have to pay the duty. shipping from u.s to canada is somewhat inexpensive. but for some reason canada to u.s is high priced. i order things from the u.s all the time. some buyers have reasonable shipping prices, others try to take your arm and leg.

If the person in Canada is not in a hurry, use the USPS. I , personally, won't buy anything if the seller won't ship by USPS because UPS and Fedex used to charge $50 just to clear customs( brokerage fee), no matter what the cost of the item. I don't know if they still do that, but I won't find out. I have bought lots of used and new parts from Ebay and sellers here, and I have NEVER paid a duty fee...EVER. I know it happens sometimes, but I don't know how they pick who pays.

i live near the border 20 min i ship stuff to the ups store they charge 5 a week to hold it. but you need to take it out of the box and get rid of the box or you get hammered on tax crossing border
