A couple of 86 Tecate questions

Hey guys,

I read on the thread that talks about parts that interchange with the Tecates and see that KX500 reeds will interchange. Is that the reed Cage or just the reeds? Reason I ask is because I know on a 250r the puma cylinder uses a CR500 reed cage to feed more air and I was looking to do the same thing with the 86 Tecate.

Also anyone use those Misc. bolt kits that they sell on ebay for the Tecate? Are they anygood? When I am building projects its always a pain in the butt to get to the store for 4 bolts at a time.

Is a Puma cylinder the same as an OEM stock 250r cylinder?

If the KX500 reeds are same as Tecate then why would the cage be different?

Any Kx500 1986-2004 reed cage will bolt on and flow the same as what you have with exception of maybe the stuffer and the boot.
