Going to be painting the engine on the Tri-Z at some point this summer. Was wondering what the best brand of spray paint for engines? Air cooled and liquid.

I've had good results with Duplicolor 500 degree engine enamel. Comes in a rattle can for 5 bucks a can.

I use PJ1 fast black engine case paint. Holds up well, even while wearing riding boots in the sand. Of course propper prep will make all the difference in the world.

I agree fully.....its 90% in the prep.

I have always used the duplicolor stuff... Make sure you really get it clean and a good coat of hi-temp primer as well.
