http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/5535/1000100v.jpgHad this for a few weeks and have done alot of clean up on it,plus parts. It was kinda of a impulse type buy.It looked alot worse when I brought it home trust me.The fenders are trashed, but the tank is really nice though. Will post more as progress continues.

So far for aftermarket is a DG pipe and Uni filter.Went through and rebuilt carb.Bought a Moose carb kit and it was very complete. The bars are MSR high ATV,ver reasonable.Only thing they are a little high and wide for stock cables. They just make it.

Be careful with Moose/MSR etc; The curve is still in your clamps because they aren't made for wide trike clamps. It causes the top clamp to eat into the bars and they can snap; I've done it and seen it.....

You have to put a large rounded bevel on the outsides of the upper bar clamps. Even then it's a gamble if your a jumper.

Thats why I went to adapters and Pro Tapers on all my serious trikes.........

No serious jumping being done.Takes a while to break them, did that one before years ago.Pretty scary when it happens.Somebody already beveled the top clamps. You should have seen the bars that were on it.

Ah - I learned something today. Better call it a day while I'm ahead and go check out my 1st gen X with aftermarket bars...

Basically it is ready to ride.Front tire has to be replaced.I have to due some carb jetting yet.The rear shock needs a rebuild and the front forks have to be gone through.Just purchased a set of G-Force hubs from atcman77 today, great guy.Need to find a new seat foam also. The chain is junk but haven't decided what I am doing with gearing.Want a little more speed with the 20" tires. The motor runs and everything works right.Does smoke a little on start up after sitting a few days.Quickly clears up after starting.Might come out for a top end job and maybe a cam swap.Don't want to do anything wild, just a little improvement over stock. If anybody wonders what the tank scoops look like from 200x350xxtriz250 they are on it.Another great member to deal with.
