I know...this may have been shown/done many times before...but I have not seen that many on here. Lets see your YT125/YT175's...whatever shape they are in. I have three..all camera shy at the moment and still hibernating(needing various things to make them happy and well again.)!

So...what do you have in the little yellow 3wheeler category??!

Here's my stalled YT project, it started out as a '80 125 & ended up a 175 w/ Pro-Tec rear suspension(MANY thanks to VealMonkey, it wouldn'ta happened w/out him), Boyesen powere reeds & PK Racing pipe. It's been sitting in storage for a couple years now.

Some lesser seen pictures of the YT175 at work. That's what I love about these things, they can do everything and are tough as nails.

they are nice arent they, they are the stock rims, look at a photo of when they were new and you will see thats what they look like when it was new, I found some awesome paint to duplicate it

Awesome picture. I figured it wasn't all the way out west, just looked different. Looks like an awesome place to ride. I have driven right near there, its right on my way to New Mexico. Might have to stop there sometime.

So what kinda forks & rear is he running? The bike looks real cool the way it sits up front & DEF looks to be suspended in the rear.
Oh, and I'm loving the trail--pros.

This was my son's trike. He had it for 5 years or so. It did finally wear out. 80' YT125-

If search his post he's got a few threads with some good pics. Pretty much all home-made. Square steel tubing for the swing-arm, the front suspension appeared to be a very oddly modified, maybe extended stock set-up. I would like to see some better pictures of the front.

From what Veal saw, it was 200 triples and yt tubes. The rear suspensioin is a custom set up, frame is chopped in the back, I like it :)

I resurrected a nice YT175 from 2 junky '82 & '83 models, really cool 'lil trike: seemed really, fast and light, motor towards the rear caused the front end to get real light under hard acceleration making them great for wheelies.

And yes, it had the infamous :shiftyeyes:trailpro:shiftyeyes:

Never figured that one out if I remember correctly; even the Yamaha experts were stumped (someone will correct me if I'm wrong of this I am sure). But it sure sounded nice and ran great. It was a neat pipe, expansion chamber and muffler were a 1 piece unit, and it fit the trike nearly perfectly (all except for the back of the rear fender, which rested on it slightly; I just let the pipe melt it into the perfect notch. The only reason it smoked so much on the vid was I was worried the pre-mix system wasn't lubricating quite enough (even though the spark plug indicated a good mixture) due to the fact that it didn't appear to be smoking enough, so I added a little too much oil to the fuel tank, which made it smoke like crazy.
