anybody do a mod like this. cutting the oil line and adding a cooler for the oil. for those slow going heavy pulling working days of summer. just wondering. cutt the line, flare it add rubber hose and add a small trans cooler, mount it in front of the frame by the cylinder head. what do you think?

I guess it could be done but why. On the hottest days of summer and non stop hard trail riding my 250sx never overheats. Im sure everyone will agree that 250sx are notorious for running cool while taking punishment.

Interesting idea.
I use my 250's (br,sx , whatever's closest)
for hauling everything, including
dragging a spike tooth harrow.
Lots of drag, usually hot out and CAN go on for hours so I've thought about it too.

Even thought about a simple 12v fan to blow on the engine.

Seems like all the trikes I have seem to come with melted front fender
mudguards melted. and I Know I never run them that hot.

Then I realized I care about my machines more than I do about myself,
so I give us both a break periodically.

Knowing what we use these thing for, I'm sure a line would get ripped off
or the cooler stabbed with a stick.

Now you got me thinking..what about some extra oil holding tank
like a harley oil tank somewhere just to have a few extra quarts of oil
on board.

Doesn't even have to be pressurized.
