Yes 25s will work I've been using 25s on my sx for years, now on my sx I got 28 silverbacks but I hadto upgrade the clutch but yea they will work

Do the 28's fit with the fenders? Mine used to rub, but I switched the rims around to make it wider and now they don't.
But I'm extending it this weekend, hopefully.

Yep. Full TRX rear end.
Edit: $75 for the whole quad. Got the engine itself to start, which was a good sign. But traded it for the shock mount fabrication/some engine work/welding services to a machinist friend of mine.

Mine used to rub but being that its a mud bike i dont worry to much about the fenders becuz there mostly covered in mud, but heres a pic so u can see, i have the rear shock adjuster all the way to the highest point and im still searching for a lift style extender for the shock so i can have the rear shock a little bit higher.

ok put them on today, fit no problem. still have my bog issue when i floor it.... if i give a little throttle them smash it its fine. also a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro to start today. 32 deg. .. and i have no electric start. just kickin her. but ill mess with her more when it gets warmer. but the tires do give me way more wheelie power and it corners better with the wider tires
