I never felt the need for an oil cooler on a 200x but if you run the sand dunes or baja races I can see were you might want one . Good oil and the correct fuel to compression ratio and tuned correctly it shouldn't run that hot IMO .

Here's a cheap kit you could probably use the cooler from . You would have to tap into the oil passage on the clutch cover on the 200x motor .

it means "in my opinion" i used a 350x cooler on my auto x but you will have to drill into oil passages for sure. im not too sure where they are on a 200x. but when or if you decide to do it you will need 3 holes. the middle hole to put a "block off" bolt/allen into. then the 1st and 3rd holes will need fittings threaded into them. 1 will be the inlet to the cooler and the other will be the return . they should all be about within 1/4 inch of each other..

imo id run one. ive found that they save oil life by 25%-50% . i dont have to change my oil nearly as much as i use to.

i havnt noticed anything like that. im not sure if its true or not but i herd the 200x oil pumps were better then the 185/200s pumps. if its true you should be ok because if my 200s pump will pump it your x pump will. just rememper to use a small dia. line and fittings. your line should be about the same size as the vein that your tapping into. the same goes for your fittings. the "block off" should a bit bigger then the vein to ensure a good block off of oil flow.

This oil cooler would work for what you need. It's not cheap, but I have'nt seen one of the hayden kits for awhile. I snaked the last couple that I saw. LOL

Here is my aftermarket kit for a frame mounted oil cooler under the seat and rear fender of the 200x. If you can blow the instructions up big enogh, it tells you where and with what and how to drill to tap into your 200x oil supply and return.

The oil galley goes across the entire front of the case, I believe the difference is only where the holes are drilled.

Mickey Dunlap just mentioned this in his thread that's a sticky up top. I'm sure you can ask him as well but those all seem correct especially VealMonkey. a few years ago there were kits on e-bay
