Here's mine, 85 or 86 225DX. It came with blue plastic but I like Yamaha's to be yellow so I bought yellow plastic and put a battery on it. Total investment was less than $350. It runs like a champ, starts right up and has gone everywhere I've needed it to.

Here's my son practicing wheelies on the "training trike" I let him putt around on the Tecates once in awhile, but he's much more at home on his KX, one of these days I'll find him a 200X or build him a KDX or KX125 based Tecate

it has been a while since I posted my lovely 250sx. here she is about 5 years ago acting as pallbearer for a deceased big red. Since then the seat has gone to crap and been re duct taped about 3 times and gone to crap again and been replaced with a kitchen garbage bag. when the garbage bag seat cover gets too torn up or melts too much on the muffler I simply replace it with a new bag. I like the handle tie bags , they are quick and easy to put on. The trail pros were ridden bald and replaced with dry and cracked old spider trac's. the left one needs air every time it is ridden. the tank has started leaking again intermittantly. The tractor supply headlight is now broken, it has different rusty bent steel MX bars on it, the rear brake lever on the bar is gone, everything that could be broken has been broken and removed. what is left is indestructable

It is a great machine. I paid $100 for it in pieces about 6 years ago. I put new axle bearings in it, redid the tank and fuel system and it has refused to die ever since. I still change the oil now and then- cheap insurance. It has ben used...a lot..she is even prettier now.

It used to be an 84R. It started last time I bothered to try but thats where the fun ends though. No brakes, no clutch, no throttle, no shifter, shredded rear tire. I tossed the Maiers or what was left of them.

1974 ATC90 and 1982 ATC185s. Bought them both for $50. Got them both running (no spark and filthy gummed up carbs) without spending any more. Obviously they need some new parts and hours of rebuilding before they are safe to ride, but the engines are mechanically sound, just like the guy I bought them from said they were. Hondas are hard to kill.

This picture was taken before I got them running. They are still farm fresh and untouched here.120439
