So I am searching for a Tecate kicker boss today and my search leads me to an old motorcycle salvage yard about 15 miles away from my house. This is a weird old place out in the woods that has been around forever but I am always reluctant to go out there because they wont deal with you on the phone plus I have never had any luck getting parts from them (no T3 stuff). I hadnt been out there in years but this time when I pulled up I had a good feeling. There were a couple younger guys that were running the place now and they were out front standing by a complete ALT125 and a ATC110. Also out front was a complete KLT185 and several parts ATCs (110,185s,etc.) The guys were real friendly and I told them what I was looking for so we head inside (which is a dirty, run down, shop/shed filled with old parts in no particular order). Immediately I spot a speedometer amongst piles of rubbish that catches my eye, which is very similar to when an eagle spots his pray but probably a little more refined:lol: "How much you want for this?" I ask calmly. "Umm........ $65." says dude. "Sold" It is for the 85-86 ATC 250r and it even has the clamp for the fork/cable. I was so surprised to see this rare part at this place! Since I am the nicest guy ever I am giving it to Bretmd94 to put on his bike of choice. (I believe they fit 350X?) I will have to head back out there and snap some pics of this place (didnt have my camera with me:cry:). There is probably two acres of parts scattered around, some piled ten feet high. Maybe when I go back out there they will let me in the back of the place, something I have always heard they will never let anyone do..............
