i have known about this 83 250r for a short time but never really had the extra money to buy it. i decided to just buy it and figure out how to pay bills later lol so i went to pick it up today and after talking with the guy for an hour or so he told me where there was another trike. he thought it was a 250x??? i asked trike or quad. he said trike, i thought it might be an sx. well it turns out to be an 84 klt 250 prairie three wheeler. the only reason i know this is because by the looks i had no idea what it was and had to look for tags. it needs some top end work and few other small things. it got racks and all. i will get pics tomorrow. the 250r may need a new motor the topend was off and it was sitting outside for some time. he did keep the seat, rear fenders, and gas tank in the house though. not sure if i will keep them or part the 250r out and try to sell the klt??? only time and money will tell. anybody got a klt 250 prairie?? post some pics for me thanks mike

i used to have one a 83 200cc one if i remember rite. they have a regular manual clutch. it was just as fast as a honda 200x. it's fun driving around with the rear in the open position only one rear wheel has power like a car. when you turn and the innner tire lifts it spins then when it grabs and pulls a wheely.
