What size tires work best for an '85 250r? It currently has 22 inch holeshots but they look huge on the bike. I'm not sure if I should go with 20's or 18's?? I'm going to get the Titan Fast Trekkers though. I ride mostly on the trails, some sand, minimal mud, and sometimes rocky conditions at Coal Creek

the smaller the tires the slower you go

Those round things.. with the teeth.. they come in different sizes.. to change your gear ratio to match different sized tires. umm.. sprockets.. yeah, that's the ticket.

18"s for flat land with no rocks. Supercross style.
20"s for a good all around tire...............A little more clearance. still quick...........

I'd go with 20" tires and regear for a sleeker look. Go up a tooth or two on the front sprocket, or down a few on the rear to keep the same general top speed..

Alright I'm gonna order 20" tires :) Thanks everyone for your input. My bike is really fast on top end so I may or may not change gearing.
