250sx problem

ok how do you tell if the timing chain is not set right? Does it make a noise or does it just not start? I got spark and compression and gas but it just does not start and it making me mad cause i just fix and clean ever thing on my bike . So i need help thanks

did u compression test it?

no but it had compression when me and a friend put it together
