What grind does everybody like ???? I know mega cycle, powroll, web all make cam what does every body like???? We have used web and white brothers cams. I'm looking for a more mid to top cam. Those 350's have good bottom end now

Megacycle makes a cam designed for the 10.5:1 piston. I haven't run it yet (build isn't done) but it was highly recommended to me by numerous people with years of experience; They all claimed you'd retain stock reliability and have some great gains.

Piston, gasket, springs, retainers, gaskets, cam etc etc can set you back 700$, thats the bad part. But, in my case it was a crate motor and I wanted it reliable as my other X........

Stroking the crank seems to cut back the reliability.

That grind matched is shown on their website.

I like megacycles full race cam for most any 350x build. Like you said, they make killer low end so adding more with a smaller cam is normally not needed.

I'll never do a full race cam again. 8$ a gallon for the race gas they advise for the high compression piston for that cam; soon to be 10 or 12$ a gallon.

I'm only riding, not racing. A little more sac is all I wanted.......

Well, as you know you don't HAVE to run a 12-1 with it. In fact I never have.

Powroll does not make there own cams and they are probably made by web.

But yes, I run nothing but megacycle.

You are correct. there Full RACE grind is really webs's 213 grind cam. So whenever they tell you that they weld there own cams (And hardend rockers) there full bull Shii...... BUT They do build there own cranks which are also not very well built. So I'd recimend that you go to crank works or Falcon to have it stroked.

I don't know why you think Powrolls cranks are no good but I have seen them last over 10 years.

I was looking at cams yesterday and was woundering:wondering What about useing a 79/82 xr500 cam in the bike when I'm done with it its going to be around 500cc. The 500cams will work in those engines they have alittle differant deration and lift and cam timming is differant.Just throwing out a idea

Crank Works wants 335 plus parts to do a stroker and falcon wants 472 plus parts and powroll wants 290 plus parts And they all are doing the same thing with the rod just shrinking it.
