Big Red 1984

Well here I am again. I found a Big Red 84 and a 83 200. I am going to look in the morning. To dam cold it is -20C right now.

what should I look for?? They both run he says but one bogs so I am thinking carb job.
The 200 runs just great so we will see.

Is it possible to get new rear plastic for a Big red??

You can't get aftermarket plastic for a 1984 big red 200es anymore, like you can for the 250 big red. You can buy used though, plastic from a 200e will fit the same too.

well the pics does appear to be a 1984 honda 200es big red but the way to tell is if it's shaft drive and reverse. The other appears to be a 1983 honda 200e big red it should be a chain driven one. But the pics are really far a way they could be the same machine. either way there both missing the front racks. look on the front of the frame on the steering stem there should be a model and year and vin number sticker there

Here is the ad
one is a 84 200 atc big red the plastic is cracked and needs a carb cleaning had it running this year, it has reverse

the other is a 83 200 m which is in very good shape starts 1 , 2 pull .

random thing but wouldnt a rear fender off of a 84 trx200 fit on your 200es? motors and rear end are exact same... and im pretty sure thay still make after market fenders for the trx....

I'm not sure if I had to guess I'd say no but I'm not sure. know that I look at the second pic the forks are different so It can't be another big red they do look like 200m front end so the guys probably right.
