I have a wheel from an 86-87 200x wheel that I bought off ebay stating that it would fit a 350x. I tried to put the wheel on my 350x tonight and it would not fit. The spacers from the 350x would not work causing the wheel to bind up and I was not able to tighten the axle completely.

Can I use 200x spacers to get this to work?

Also the bolt pattern on the wheel is different from the 350x. I thought they were the same?

Any insight as to what I can do if anything would be greatly appreciated. Or if it comes down to it, anyone have a spare 350x wheel they would want to trade for a 200x wheel, hub, disc, and caliper? Thanks.

He must have sold you an 83 to 85 wheel. The bearing spacer or bearings are bad, it shouldn't bind up just tightening the axle.

The wheel you bought was most likely not an 86-87 200X wheel. You probably got a 83-85 - those will not fit a 350X.

Yup, you got an early one and I'm assuming it came with the hub?

You can have spacers made to center it and then will probably have to space the caliper.

Not as bad as you think, but if you return it, you lose return shipping; Better to trade it if you go that route.

Got a pic??

Heres a pic from the auction DC. I think I am going to try to trade it for a front wheel and tire for the X though.

Yup, 83-85 200X wheel. A trade would be super!

If the tire is perfect, you may want to "make" it work.

Or start a claim and send it back...........
