hello all, i just bought my self a ''running condition'' 225DX yamaha as of now it needs to be put back together, engine sits in frame. My main concern is are these machines hard to find parts for? right now, it needs the swinger bolts, hubs, shifter, and carb slide and the screw on cap for carb... and pull starter. Paid very little for this thing. any ideas mabe a manual? thanks!

ebay is your best bet....not nearly as many parts as hondas but there is plenty out there if you spend some time looking. And there is a pdf of the clymer manual floating around here.

I have found if you keep your eyes open and ask around a lot of times there will be a parts machine just waiting somewhere close by. Otherwise e-bay or put an add in the classifieds section here.

check your honda shop as I have looked at mine and most everything is still available, unfortunatley don't break the plastics as they no longer have them in stock anymore, had to buy mine off of ebay just recently

That would work, except you might want to go to a Yamaha shop.
