Tecate Kill Switch ?

is there a kill switch or a on/off switch on the 84-85 tecate....

the previous owner just used an old dirt bike push button kill switch... i want my bike to be more or less original..

I believe the 84 and 85 had different kill switch set ups. I know the 84 has a combination light and kill switch. I think the 85 used a seperate light and kill switch. with the kill switch being the bush button type like an MX bike.

86 Tecate had seperate kill and light switch. but it was not a push button kill switch.

i didnt even know the 84 had lights...

i'm gonna look around for a good kill switch... previous owner had the push button tie strapped to the handlebars...

I would also recommend a tether kill switch for your tecate especially if you have a twist throttle, they can get away from you in a hurry if you are not carefull lol. ---Joe 8)
