I paid $350 for my '85.. very good fenders, new seat cover, a new airfilter, great oem rear tires... decent tank.. But it needed rear brakes, a new gas cap, handlebars, and a front tire.. I would expect 600-700 after its fixed up...

That sounds a little high I think. I sold a good running non smoking 200s that had a patched rear fender and a stitched front fender. It had all new brakes, and wheel bearings for $425. I thought I was lucky to get that out of it. I guess it depends on your area.

Well, I live in southern Louisiana, and the thing that is done, just about every weekends, is muddin'. What should I offer him for it?

not the best deal. $300 is what I'd pay maybe $350 if he can prove engine was rebuilt recently. plastics will cost you $200 alone and the seat another $75

Hey neighbor,
There was an almost mint 84 200s for sale in Jena, La last week the guy was asking 600 and took 550. I think you need to keep looking.
