My new toy, I think I did good on the price I just wanted some feedback. What do you guys think it is worth??

800-1200 its definately clean and looks like a well kept machine.Im trying to get my 200x up so I can go out to the RAC in Pa w it and hit some hills.

I'd give $2000 for the R but have an extra $500 in my pocket just incase.....I'd really have to hear it run though

Something like that would go for about 2 grand if it looks as good without the mud, especialy if the speedo is Hondaline.

Generally you will want to ride it, feel how it shifts, check the frame, bearings, ect. Some go as far as checking radiator fluid. Also, starting is a big deal.. Must prove it can be cold started..

I personally wouldn't give his asking price if it is that dirty, would go lower by a hundred or so..

Seriously? How hard is it to clean these things??? Ain't nothing a high pressure nozzle can't clean! Even a bike covered in sand/dirt/mud with oil soaked in and that has had time to bake in the hot sun can be cleaned..

Sand that exhaust on the 250sx and paint it and you will have a real nice looking trike in no time. Great buy.

the 83 is a member on here ... well not for a long time huh Nick? But worth the $$ There's been a few 1st gens going cheap( $300-600) and 2nd ($250-500) around here. There's been one, 1st gen, in KOP outside of philly that doesn't need much(seatcover and tires) for 450 obo. It's been on for so long if you offered $200 the guy would take it. It's the 3rd gens that cost around here. $1500 and up. We seem to have alot of 1st gen T-3's around here cheap too.($400-800) see CL/Ebay section for the 86T-3
But that R has to be the best deal around here in along time

jsut be sure before you go riding it, change all fluids and inspect them especially rear end as if it's tan, brown, or sparkley then prepair to take it appart and repalce the bearings and seals. if you do not, you will trash the gearing and really ruin it.

It's a little faster..., it's also heavy!!! about 80 lbs more than the x.... We are gonna make alot faster! lol........

His SX probably weighs 160 lbs more than an X, since he has the additional 80 lbs worth of carlisle trail pros on the back! lol
