Anyone have pics of there 350x with a wider axle? Im thinking about getting some ex or 450r hubs and maybe some stock ex,450r wheels I think they have a different offset and would add some width to my X. How much of a improvement would I gain? Would that make it too wide? I tryed to swap my hubs/wheels off my 400ex earlier but one of its hubs is stuck on the axle!

I have 2 inch spacers on either side and it handles fairly well. Wish I could tell you more but it was like that when I got it and it's the only one I've ever really had a chance to ride other than a 110 I rode for about 15 minutes 10 years ago. Oh and a 250r I rode up and down the street with a wasted clutch.

Ive been riding my 350x stocker for 1 1/2 yrs now. For atleast PA riding. I thinks its set up well. But alwys thinking about a 2 inch extension. I like the stock width as far as woods riding, but an inch or two in length would help with the hills. But overall the 350x untouched is a marvelous machine.

I believe the 400ex will not bolt up to the 350x since they both have different amount of splines. AND the 400ex wheels have the same offest as the 350X wheels too.

I'm running a lonestar +4 300ex axle in mine (1986).. You will have to change your rear sprocket as they are different on the 85. Other than that it should be a direct bolt up!

I have aftermarket rims that give me about 2 or 3 extra inches of width, I think it's perfect, but I never had it stock...

im not shure if mine is stock but i can use the spacers over the splines to widen it or shorten it 3"

I did the same lonestar 300ex axle swap on mine just needed to use the 300ex hubs and sprockets.
