first 250r :)

I got my first 250r:):):):):):). lol iam alittle happy about it. I picked it up yesterday from a guy down the street from me for $1000 he says he had it for, 4 years and parked it 3 years ago he got scared of it and parked it after riding it around his front lawn, and it was been seating in his shop ever since then. It was new back fenders a new plastic tank missing cap, back tires, a load of brake parts, and the engine was rebuild just befor he got it it was 180psi compression. The one thing I can't figger out is the pipe?? has anyone seen this pipe befor?? It isn't stoke and I couldnt find one on ebay or google. Can any one help me? and how do you think I did. I know the back of the frame where the grap bar is spot to be is busted off but the pipe that is in there works for right now

Yeah. You are missing some of your frame where the grab bar mounts up, what kinda handle bars are them ? ? ? Other than that it looks pretty good , I have a 84R.

I think they are fly bars I dont really like them I may change them out for somthing eles lol and ya the backend of the frame is gone, Iam thinking of makeing a better bumber up that can take more abuse and that will look better.

Awesome deal. What's your plans? I know you just got it but it starts instantly with upgrade ideas. I think I would get a black front fender, get the tank done black, stick on 350x headlight, clean and change back tires to get me started. Lol

iam definitely going to be trying to get a black front fender and pop the dents out of the tank and get it black aswell. It alread has a pipe on it so iam ok there I have another stock head light but the 350x head light would look sick if I can get it in black. as for tires iam just going to run these one for now as they havnt been used or I have the bear claws on my 200x

Ya my 200es is shaft drive with reverse and the 200m is chain drive so i dont think that will work

That looks like a DG pipe, btw could be but every dg I have seen was been stainless with an aluminum silencer

I've sent a few R frames up to NB, and theses were freebes, and the shipping was around $100 USD. It's worth an arm or a leg if it's only $150. I must be seeing more than you and it's not all the rear sub frame. I might even know where a 84 frame is that you can have, no title though.
