I'm pricing some parts for my auto clutch and the price is getting way up there. The primary clutch (not the plate shifting clutch) clutch carrier assembly and the clutch housing are the most expensive parts. My bike is 26 yrs old. I may just have to tear into it and see the wear. I'd like to do this job once so I'm wondering if I should just go full pull and spend the extra $350 for clutch carrier and clutch housing.

Right now I'm at $672 for a freaking ATV clutch. My car clutch parts are way cheaper.

Not sure what bike you're working on, but generally those parts don't get replaced unless it's been abused. Just take it apart and check it out.
