I was wondering if these will work on my 1983 honda atc 250r, like will they fit in the stock tree? same mounting? http://cgi.ebay.ca/1999-Honda-CR250-CR-125-250-SHOWA-Forks-Suspension-/120681969692?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1934b81c

No way would they fit in the stock tree - the CR forks are much thicker. Those front forks are also a LOT longer than the atc forks. Believe it or not most people who have inverts on their machines use 80 or 85cc dirtbike forks with progressive springs. And then, of course you need a custom tripple tree made to pull it off.

What did you think it was going to be a bolt-in? You'd probably need a custom hub as well. And I'm sure you'd have a lot of work to do with the brake also.

well no but iv seen people with upgraded suspension and it would be way better than the suspension on it already, every day im trying to find ways to increase my suspension travel. we have a track near hear and its hard landing on someof those jumps, some of them, the footpegs touched the ground!

Front brakes are more important than the rear brakes. You just need to learn how to use them.
