Looks like a good solid trike, just check over everything and offer $700. I'm sure he'll take it.

Seems a little high to have busted up rear fenders.

Make sure the kick starter does not slip.

yeah I have 2 lined up that are nicer and a couple years newer for $700 in MN....so I would say that one you are looking at is at the high end of the scale for the shape it is in......

I would pay 5 or 6 hundred depending on how it runs and if the kicker slipped

That might be from someone on here. Search the classifieds... There are a couple of nice 200x's for sale in there. Michican area I believe in the 700 range.

looked at it, stated first kick, and ran really good. Fenders are pretty bad. Might offer 700

Take your balls and some cash with you and offer $450. Tell him the fenders are thrashed and its near $200 bucks for new fenders. Find something wrong with it to talk him down, "brakes feel a little spongy", "sounds like its got a little valve train noise" Worst he's gonna do is say $450 isn't enough, but at least your bargaining starts low. If it runs really great and the top end sounds good paying $700 wouldn't be too bad, but no reason to offer that right away. I always feel disappointed if people take my first offer, like I didn't bargain to the full extent.

It seems like 200x prices are all over the board. I have seen junkers for 800. Clean barn finds for 300. There have been semi clean 200x's for 1,800 firm and I let a very nice oem 86 go that was up for 900.

My 84' was a traded bike that I paid $300 for. I did some minor work and it looks great and has low miles. Just gotto keep your eyes open.

It seems to me that 700 is a fair price if all it needs is a set of rear fenders.

Plus it has trail pro rear tires. That lowers the value at least $100 per tire.

With those tires I could be doing burnouts for the next 10 years, what am I talking about I'll have those tires for life.
