hello guys I'am at a stand still with my 200m engine it is in a 200x right now and runnes good was lots of power starts up in -20 first pull, burns oil 1L for every 8hours of trailing riding. The bad thing is that it only was 80psi compression and when I put oil in the cyclinder it gos up to 100psi.

Should I rebuild it or just see how long it goes, rings are $40 and a topend gasket is $30 so it doesnt cost alot. Also will the cyclinder off my 200x work on the 200m? thanks Aaron

The top end of the 200x is a direct bolt on the 200m motor. (If I'm wrong correct me guys). And works excellent. If that whole top end is good off you x motor, put it on. What was wrong with the x motor? Lots of guys have built up the 200 motor with the 2oox top end. How'd you like the auto though? I really like my daughters. And the 200x is so much funner with a twist throttle, even with the 200s motor.

the tranny is going on the x engine an I worn the splines off the out putt shaft last season, dame cheap sproket. I was thinking about putting the hole topend on the M but I may have to pull start it, and the X head doesnt have a decompresser so it would be a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro to start. I remeber having a 200es and it was a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro to pull over with out the decompresser. lol I was like 8 so I may be wrong. I dont really like the hole auto becasue it shits the other way all down, and I miss not having a clutch anymore other then that it still goes pretty good

I would definitely search for an xr200 tranny or whole engine and use that, I bought one for 60$ and threw my 200x top end on it.

You could always MacGyver it and fix it will things you find around the kitchen.

empty coup can, some oil, half of a soda can, a bunch of tape and a hammer and your set !

what i would do is use the 200x cylinder they have larger cooling fins but if you use electric start you need to grind some of the fins down so it fits. and use the 200m head so you have a decomp and switch the cam because the 200x cam is an up grade for the 200m motor

the x was bigger cooling fins? I have never though of that lol, iam going to see what the m cylinder looks like if it is clean and std bord iam just going to put the x pitson rings and cam into the m, as when I do get money to fix the x I will be replaceing all of theso parts. Thanks for the info guys iam going to clean off a bench in the shop today and start on the x
