this is the engine number ( tbu5e-6115251 ) the frame number is unreadable 117229117230117231117232

The 200X is a real great machine. I have an 86 and its solid for about $900 into it. Lets see some pics, and how much did you get it for? Is there something wrong with it, that it needs work on the top end? As was mentioned, anything you need to know or possibly buy for that is right here. Very helpful group. Good luck and nice save.

ya i have an 84 frame and mint fenders and seat, plus some more parts, need cash bad... so PM if u need some parts. ya the fenders have mud flaps:( but the are MINT they arnt even melted on the exhaust side

i got it for 200, they say the top end is blown but i haven't taken it apart yet to verify, i'm really glad i found this site it has already helped alot

Its a 200x,I have an 85 that runs but needs work.I spent 200 bucks on mine also,I have 250 into it w new chrome dg exhaust,new grab bar.it needs new master cylinder,new carb new plastics and anew front tire and rusty chain.Although When I get it started Im gonna see if I can run it w lube and get it back again.I dont know whats fair amount to put into this.I want a daily rider,I will rattle can mill footpegs etc for now.I really dont wanna make this thing a 3000 buck racer if ya'll know what I mean.Im just curious what every 1 has into there scoots.
