John Galt is a fictional character in Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged. Billy's favorite novel and now movie.

look underneath the buttons like the "my profile" "settings" and "log out" it looks like it was hand written and it's white so it blends in so look closely. and I logged onto my desktop and it still there so it's not my moniter

I'm also reading: ''Who is John Galt?''.
It's part of the background picture, don't know what it means though.

Once again, Atlas Shrugged + Billy = Subliminal Tomfoolery(government term btw).

Not particularly intended as anything subliminal. Just to promote discussion and interest to those that do notice it. If it was subliminal it woulda flashed across the the screen in giant bold letters at a fraction of a second
In Atlas Shrugged, the "$" and the phrase, "Who is John Galt?" are pretty important parts of the storyline. Its a book and story I like and its sort of me paying homage to it. Maybe it'll make some other people curious enough to check it out as well.
