85R All stock but needs topend , what you guys think ?

It's apart been apart for about 3 years now but stored indoors. Stock bore ( needs piston and bore) , comes with extra rear tires on rims . He has shrouds , headlight , front fender , and it has brand new bearing carrier ( 3 years ago) he says :rolleyes: . I can grab it for $300.00 , he said the suspension is good and tight. What you guys think ?

I just bought one in worse shape than that for $300 last week. I wanted the very nice oem rear fenders for my '86, I was then able to make my money back on it. Your not gonna lose on that one. Good find.

Nice score but be prepared to split the case and put new mains and seals in it, hopefully the crank is good. It's not worth putting in just a top end without freshening up the lower end and 300$ is a great deal.

Bottom is good he says. Crank turn good with no ties but i think i would go through the whole thingsince it's been open for three years.

I agree with you. I just bought bkm's roller and will eventually turn it into a runner aswell. Just gonna take my time with it. They have to be awful harsh to consider then gone eh.

OK . It's a done deal , I am going in the morning to pick this up . He told me i could have it for 300.00 and last night called and said someone else offered him more money for it. Just talked to him again and the guy that offered more money for it never showed up. :naughty:
