I'm in the market for a set of handlebars for my 250R build. I was wondering what might be a good set to put on there other than the original set (which I do not have). What have you used or what do you prefer? I know in many cases it is personal preference but I haven't had the opportunity to try many different types of bars so I'm looking for some advice. Unless I can come upon a nice, straight set of original bars, aftermarket is what I'll gladly use in place of. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

I have always used Renthal ATV high bend - but I am becoming much more impressed with Pro taper Fat Bars. You can buy 7/8 to fat bar adapters on ebay for roughly $30.

I was involved with having these reproduced they are 100% in every shape and form all holes drilled in correct places they even have the little punch marks the factory put next to the knurls for position and have threaded slugs in ends for grip caps , you cant tell these apart from nos

But are they heat treated the same as the origanal honda bars? The factory bars are Chromemoly!

I have a set of the Pro Taper SE ATV High bars on the Tri-z and really like them. I also ran a set of lower Pro Tapers on the 250R and those worked really nice. I think they were the Reed/Henry bend.
