The new Clarke 350x tank came today and looks great. I was hesitant to buy it after reading about Dcreels issue with Clarke's white Tecate tanks. It was under $200 and I got it new off Ebay with a 14 day full money back garantee so I took the chance. It doesnt appear to have any air bubbles or thin spots and the coloring is good. I also went for a new Armor Tech valve.
I will update after mounting and the test ride. Now what's this I am hearing about my new decals are going to bubble up? Is there any way to stop this?

If you figure it out, let me know... mine bubbled. I heard that if you perforate the decals, it won't happen. I haven't tried it yet.

They do sell perforated decals and I have a set for my Tecate, but I haven't put them on yet. You can coat the tank with Caswell and I hear that works well. Ask Johnny Swinehart.

Looks good.. Makes me sad that they don't care enought to sell a good 84-85 Tecate tank. Maybe thats why they don't mold Clarke into the Tecate tank.

I do recommend coating it, ll my white Clarke tanks are yellow, not the IMS tanks though.......

I put the tank on today without any probelms. I had to spread it open at the bottom and force it onto the front rubbers, but it fits good. I like it.

jeswineharts link above did not work. Someone please discuss the tank coating or help with a link. I have had no luck with a search.
