I just cant seem to figure out how or what is supposed to hold the cable on where the half circle looking mount is on the lower half of the engine. I looked in the manual, and there are no clear pictures, only a schematic, but it dosent show a good picture at all. I also checked bike bandit to see if they had a different shematic, and no. The cable I had on it was a threaded cable on the end where it would mount there with no shoulder, and this other tri z cable I have has a shoulder, but no threads on that end. Is it supposed to have threads there, or not? Also, I cant tell, but are there two pieces there that are supposed to clamp it there, or ??? If someone could take a close picture it would save me a huge headache. Thanks again!

There is a gold flat ring that has a tab. The ring goes over the cable and the tab slips into the slot below the cable holder boss on the case.
You have to look at the case parts to find the part you need in the parts schematics.

It is number 10 in this schematic at this link.

Thank you very much kind sir! That really cleared things up. From what I can tell, your cable is not threaded on that end, correct? Also, anyone have this piece they would be willing to sell? $17 seems a litle high for something like that, but at last resort, and if they still have it available, I will have to bite the bullet. Thanks again!
