250sx Exhaust vs. TRX 250X Exhaust

Does anyone know if an exhaust for a 1987 TRX250x will fit onto a 1987 ATC250sx?

I'm looking for an exhaust for my 1987 250sx. As you may already know, no manufacturers produce any aftermarket exhausts for the 250sx. I can't seem to find anything on ebay. Thanks in advance for the help.

G&H sells the cobra system for $135.00 I think.

I checked G&H before hand. I wasn't sure if they stopped making them for 250sx. I'll have to try calling them.

Royal distributing also have full cobra system. Were back order last time I checked and I'm not sure about the shipping to usa from them.
I've always asked myself the same thing about trx exhaust fitting the SX but never asked.

There was a few Bassani exhausts on eBay. I got one but it wasn't cheap.

I looked all over ebay, no Bassani exhausts for the 250sx. Although I came across a used Cobra for a Big Red. The listing states it will fit the sx or TRX.

Not looking too promising. This is the response I received from G&H Distributors today after I emailed them regarding the status of the Cobra exhausts for the 250sx:

“We haven't been officially told they have been discontinued, but they have been out of stock for months, and we've been told there is no defined time frame for more coming in. We're speculating that they are or will be discontinued.

Sorry I couldn't give you better news.”

I've got a Cobra exhaust system for a 250 big red (86) for sale if you are interested (not new but not trash either). Not sure if it would fit, but it seems like it should (maybe even with minor fitting adjustments).
