Easy answer:

A muffler and silencer are basically devices used for the same purpose. They silence or muffle the engine noises. The word muffler would be used more as an OEM device from the factory that quiets down the exhaust. The word silencer is used more often in the aftermarket world used to decribe their "mufflers". But most aftermarket silencers are usually used to control the tone of the exhaust rather then actually quieting the sound since most silencers are straight through designs.

A spark arrestor is just simply a device that prevents hot embers from exiting the tailpipe. Most riding locations require them in preventing forest fires. All OEM mufflers have spark arrestors built into them. Most afermarket exhaust systems have the option of incorporating one into them as per the riders choice. Hopefully that helps.
