Check out the rim on these paddles. I mounted them and they ARE beaded and holding air just fine but look how far the rim sticks out. This cant be how they r supposed to be is it?? it is a 20x11x10 tire and then a 10x10 rim. so the tire should be an inch wider then the rim. let me know what u guys think or what trailprotrailpro experiences r with these. thanks.

Are you using tubes? It doesn't look like the bead of the tire is seated all the way.

That's exactly what my sharks look like on the factory tecate wheels..

hmmm....by no means do I insult your intellegence, but measure the width of the rim again

No tubes, bead IS seated, and rim is 10 inch. I measured.

Maybe the tire isn't a true 11" wide tire. The tire looks stretched like a 10" tire on a 12" wheel. But the bead doesn't look seated either. hmm..

Looks like my tri-zinger tire did. But I got one side to seat, trying to seat the other side blew the tire up.

yeah its very odd. ill have to measure the tire and the rim again just to make sure.

Everything looks normal to me as far as bead seating.. sand stars have a small casing... they are typically used on 8 wide... My 20" haulers on 10x10's look very similar, although the lip on yours doesnt stick out nearly as far as the lip on my VERY OLD douglas blues.. its nearly 1/2".. It looks goofy and vulnerable, but has never been an issue..

THAT WHEEL IS JUST TO WIDE FOR THOSE TIRES!!! you need a 9" wide wheel i have ran into the same thing several times! it will pack sand in there and not hold air in a few hours of riding! tire widths are just an estimation,, none are really truley what they say exactly!! i run 9" on my sand stars and that is a good
width for them,,,

i run 9" on my sand stars and that is a good width for them,,,

I bet that would be ideal. My friend has her stars on 8". They look to me like they are giving up some floatation and handling due to the rim being a bit on the skinny side.

I think your tires are meant to be mounted on an 8" wide wheel - really I do. Here are some wide fast trekkers I have mounted on 11" wide wheels - it is normal to look like this with an over-wide wheel BTW

well i guess ill try to trade the rims for 10x9's or 10x8's..... the ones i have r brand new ITP polished aluminum wheels that r 10x10 with 5+5 offset. if anyone wants to trade let me know. ill post in classifieds when i get some more pics.

In theory your your rim width should be 4,5ths the width of the tire...in this case it holds true, also depending on mfg,,some are not a true size generally smaller
