I am curious how well the 4-snow tires work. If u have them and use them or have before tell me what u think. How they go through all levels of snow, how they r on ice and if u have other tires that u have found work better. Would like to hear opinions good or bad. Thanks guys.

4 snow are simply the best snow tire.Impossible to stop.I have them on my 500x,I can ride in powder snow up to 24 inch easy in third gear. They are also excelent in sand, but will last longer in snow due to the soft compound.By a set and try it,you will not be disapointed

Great tires but be careful with the side walls as they are only a 2 ply tire. Also not sure how well they would work on an underpowered machine.

I bought a set for the wife to use in the dunes last year - they were OK there - but upon arriving back home to deep snow - I was seriously amazed at how well they do in snow up to about 18".

These tires are nothing short of amazing in my opinion!

sounds good, i just bought a pair on a TRX450R forum. i cant wait to try it out on my 350X. the rims i am putting the 4-snows on also have the FL350 Odyssey rear bolt pattern. so that should be a lot of fun to drift and blow donuts with.

they are great if you have enough power to make them spin fast. On my SX, I'm having hard time putting it in 3rd in deep snow but once the engine get some rpms, they just grip and go through the snow. I wouldn't recommend them on a small trike since you need to make them spin to get traction.

I can get through a lot more snow with these even if I cant make them spin but I dont get any speed. They just crawl.

I run pro wedge II's backwards in the sand. (the original 4 snows) They are awesome for non suspended trikes. The bubble like tires give that needed cushion.

So the tires actually r made to balloon up when spinning? They really must be soft.

i would think they are like a drag slick. as they are spun or increase in rpm they grow narrower and taller.

Here's what Maxxis say about their tire:
■Tire diameter expands up to 40% during acceleration for additional traction and ground clearance.
■Reversible tread design offers optimum traction: scoop for snow and backside for increased contact surface on ice
■Special soft compound stays flexible in cold weather for amazing grip and the smoothest ride ever!
■Drag racer’s first choice on ice, snow and sand
