I have a friend who owns an 1982 ATC 200. In order to tighten the chain, the 4 hub fixing bolts have to be loosened first.
The problem is now he cannot get two of the hub bolts to tighten up. It almost appears like the nut is turning...
Any one know what is causing this and how it can be fixed?

stripped threads or broken tak weld on the nut............... i lost 1 bolt from my rear end but have found the same thread of bolt and ran it threw and put a nut on the end and tighten the hell out of it, so far so good. but be sure that it doesnt rub against the sproket lol

It is probably a broken weld on the nut, the bolt cannot be turned out. Thanks for the reply.
Yep..sounds about right..The nuts are tacked on on the Brake side if i remember right...and prone to braking, Need to pull the axle out to re-weld some new ones on.
