I can buy an 85-86 tri z for 900 it looks like its clean and been bored .60 over. This seems like alot tho.Is this a good price for 1 and is it a good woods trike or is it more of an open land/desert mx bike?

If everything looks good, good bearings, brakes, fenders, seat, engine runs good, ect then it is an excellent deal for a rider. I love mine as a woods rider. Very comfortable machine.

If everything looks good on the bike 900 clams is a good deal. And they are awesome in the woods and open riding.

I've had about 7 tri-z's and they are a good allrounder, and go well with a race pipe.

Waiting to hear from the guy,he wants 900 will try to offer him a little lower maybe. Its been bored 60 over top end redone. Its red and black no title. What should I offer to give him for the bike if the man still has it?I was gonna eventually buy a sport quad but screw it this is even better me thinks:D

Sprockets and tire size(gearing) determine if its a good trail machine or not. These can easily be changed tho.If it does 35mph in 1st gear its not a good trail machine :)
If it runs decent and everything feels tight, get it and go from there.I've seen running Tri-z's sell from $250 to $1500 so I cant help ya there.Good luck.
