Well I just got this 250r and I have been trying to get it running so I took apart the carbureator apart and cleaned it. Didn't notice anything broken at the time but i put it back together and then tried the throttle for the first time and it wouldn't return. I figured I put the carb back together wrong I though I didn't have the throttle valve seated right (have the pin in the little slot)extremely technical terms here:D. Well I figured out the throttle valve was just twisting when I turned the throttle because the little pin is broke or has been filed off but some idiot. I need to know if this pin is replaceable and where to get it or if I'm just screwed.http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm80/Johndeereman19/101_0106.jpg

i dont think its replacable but i could be wrong..i believe the little tab is actually cast as part of the carb body.. i had the same issue with the origional 27mm from a 82r and i basicly just had to throw it in the trash....i replaced it with a 30mm
but on a side note im sitting here at my computer looking at a 30mm keihin that i was running on my 82 before i tore it down for the rebuild... so if you decide you need one shoot me a pm and we can work something out
