83 185s Spark but not firing up?

I am tired of pulling my trike behind my car to start it.
Checked valves. Would that matter? It has pretty blue spark. Gettign gas Brand new carb though.

I heard that there was a lock thing on teh needle in the carb/ and you can put it on the first 2nd or third slot which lowers or raises teh needle.
Standard is the top one so i put it there. omg i need help please. It use to start right up.

all wireing is fine..
Start switch is good.. also.

If the valves are off a smidge would that be causign it. Maybe when im tightning it up?

Read the manual, there are five grooves, standard is the second groove from the top. Mentioned on both page 41 and 42.

Do you have the pilot screw 1 turn out?

Not sure how much a smidge is, but if they are not correct after you tighten it up, do it again.

Keep at it, you'll get it running.
