Honda 200x silencers

Do they sell any silencers for a 200x, mine is really LOUD! I want i to be as quiet as possible. Has anyone found a really good one?

When I had my 86 I never did, they are just loud in general.

What kinda of pipe is on your 200x? i have a stock exhaust on mine and its very quiet, also on my other 85 i had i used a cobra pipe with a fmf spark arrestor made some difference in sound.

I'm gonna try the airpump muffler off a ford 250 (maybe just kidding)

I agree! My 86 is sooooooo stinkin loud! I think it's a cobra-ish of some sort. Trying to find a stock exhaust to, at least, make some effort at not ticking the neighbors off too bad.

haha I Know what you are talking about i live in the cities and is the only one with a track in the snow going around the house. Im sure the neighbor love it. What does a stock exhaust look like? I got my x off craigslist and never had one before.

The stock exhaust is black on my 85 and comes to a really fat muffler and slims down to a tip.

Yeah got to admit, coz my '85 didnt come with a pipe, a shiney Supertrapp seemed like a good idea. Sure it looks great, an yeah, it sounds great, but i doubt any of the neighbours agree :(
