The ATC line up is more of a Honda name.
You have a 85 Tecate 3.
Those are known for stator failures. If you pull the left sidecover off, generally the magnets break in the flywheel and tear up the stator.
a member here (Jswinehart) can help you with a flywheel repair / rebuild.
I will get his link to you.

I am not a Tecate guru by any means, but if that picture is acurate, I would have payed anywhere from 500-800 for that, in that condition in the pic.
The electrical repairs will probably cost less than 200$ to fix.

Welcome to the site. Get some pics up of this machine. 350$ is a score for sure. Keep us updated. There is a good tecate cult following on these boards.

Jeswhinehart is a solid dude around here. You can deal with him with confidence. Contact him and he will get you squared away.

Yes please post some pics of the one you got. Join the Tecate group in the groups section. The plastics also affect the price. Good condition oem plastics will bring more money. Post some pictures so we can see what goodies if any are on it.

If your T3 is in nearly mint condition, then it's worth probably around $800 or so.

As for your no spark issue, join the club  It's not very hard to replace the stator, or have the flywheel repaired if one of the magnets is torn up, and you can probably have it pinging away without a lot of dough.
