I am going to try to go fetch my "new" three wheeler today!
all I know about it is: it's yellow, it's kinda small, it's probably been sitting the last 10-20 years, the tires are flat, and it's been through a fire, but all the plastics & paint etc. survived. what I want to know is when I get it how should I load it? would it be OK to air up the tires and roll it? what should I do to try to get it running? etc..., I'll let you guys know more when I get it and get back later tonight. but my 250r won't be lonely at night in the barn now!

if your gonna try and start it, drain any old fuel out clean the carb, check for spark and and try it..

could I tow it with the oil it has in it or would that harm it? because I gotta tow or trailer her about 1/2 a mile either with my big quad or the dodge. so, drain and replace old fluids, clean carb., check for spark, and give it a go?!

Should be fine with the oil in it if you're just going to tow it, and not run it. I'd get it back to home before you start messing with anything.

Make sure it's in neutral. I usually throw a cap full of oil in the spark plug hole before spinning the engine over on anything that has been sitting.

my guess would be the tires are shot and won't hold air, if it's been sitting 10-20 years with flat tires...

well I got over there, and it had already been sold, but the guy felt so bad he gave me an old hit-and-miss engine, the water pump that goes with it, a small box of caterpillar parts, a caterpillar starter, a power take off for a tractor, and a winch(either hyster or caterpillar). he said "some young fella from down the road came up and bought the old truck, the gator, and the three-wheeler. then put the gator&three-wheeler on the truck and drove away." said he got $1,000.00 for it all, so whatever.
